Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Penetration Tester to join our Solitary Operations division. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in penetration testing and cybersecurity, with a passion for identifying and mitigating security vulnerabilities. This role involves conducting penetration tests, assessing security risks, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance our security posture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct penetration tests on systems, networks, and applications to identify security vulnerabilities.
- Develop and execute test plans and methodologies to assess security risks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement security improvements and mitigate vulnerabilities.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in cybersecurity and apply new techniques to ongoing projects.
- Document and report findings, providing actionable recommendations to enhance security.
- Provide training and support to team members on penetration testing best practices.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
- Strong experience in penetration testing and vulnerability assessment.
- Proficiency in security tools and technologies such as Metasploit, Burp Suite, and Nessus.
- Solid understanding of network protocols, operating systems, and security architectures.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in ethical hacking and red team operations.
- Background in threat intelligence and incident response.
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance standards such as GDPR, HIPAA, and PCI-DSS.
- Previous experience in mentoring or leading security teams.
