Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Insurance Risk Analyst to join our Strategic Advisory division. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance and risk management, with a passion for analyzing and mitigating insurance risks. This role involves working on advanced risk management projects, contributing to our advisory initiatives, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop risk mitigation strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and assess insurance risks to identify potential areas of exposure and develop mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement risk management solutions.
- Conduct data analysis and modeling to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for risk mitigation.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in risk management and insurance technologies, and apply new techniques to ongoing projects.
- Provide technical guidance and support to team members and stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Risk Management, Economics, or a related field.
- Strong experience in insurance risk analysis and management.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and software such as Excel, Python, R, SQL, or similar.
- Solid understanding of risk management principles and insurance practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in applying risk management techniques to real-world insurance problems.
- Background in actuarial science or financial modeling.
- Knowledge of advanced analytics and data visualization techniques.
- Previous experience in mentoring or leading finance teams.
